The Chicagoland area has had three consecutive days at or above 100 degrees, hasn’t happened here in 65 years … since 1947. The bees are busy trying to keep cool day and night. Some nighttime activity is shown.

Backyard Beekeeping Part 17: Pekoe
New bees are emerging and it’s getting hot. Time to expand the hives, add the upper deeps and remove the entrance reducers. Pekoe helps out.
